How does Lumemo work?
The lights show you a sequence. Remember it and tap it back in the same order. Every round you complete adds another light. You can revisit the short introduction any time in the settings under “How to play”.
Which game modes are there?
Daily Challenge – a new sequence every day, the same for everyone. Classic – the sequence grows and the tempo slowly picks up. Chaos – the lights swap places after every round. Reverse – you tap the sequence from back to front. Zen – a steady tempo and three lives. Melody – play well-known tunes note by note, also with three lives.
How do the daily challenge and the streak work?
Every day there is a new sequence that is the same for everyone – so you can compare your scores. A new day starts at midnight, based on your device’s clock. You can play as often as you like; your best score of the day counts.
Play at least one round on consecutive days and your streak grows. Skip a day and it starts over.
Where can I see my records?
Your record for each mode is shown in the mode selection. Games played, your streak and your best score are at the top of the settings.
Settings & technical
I can’t hear any sound.
First check that “Sound” is switched on in Lumemo’s settings. On iPhone, Lumemo also follows silent mode: if your iPhone is set to silent, the lights stay quiet. Turn off silent mode and turn up the volume.
By the way: Lumemo doesn’t interrupt music or podcasts that are already playing.
How do I change the language?
Lumemo speaks English and German and automatically follows your device’s language. You can also set it manually in the settings under “Language”.
There’s too much motion for me.
Turn on “Reduce motion” in the settings – the background becomes calmer and the effects more subtle. If “Reduce Motion” is enabled on your device, Lumemo respects it automatically.
Is Lumemo available for Android?
Lumemo launches on iPhone first. An Android version is planned – as soon as it’s ready, you’ll find it on the home page.
Data & cost
Does Lumemo cost anything?
No. Lumemo is free – no ads, no in-app purchases and no account.
What data does Lumemo collect?
None. Your records, your streak and your settings stay on your device, and the app contains no advertising or tracking services. All the details are in the privacy policy.
Will my records move to a new device?
As there is no account, your records are not synced over the internet. If you transfer your iPhone to a new device or restore it from a backup, they usually come along. If you delete the app, they are gone.
How do I reset my statistics?
At the very bottom of the settings, under “Reset statistics”. Records, games played and your streak start again from zero.
Feedback
I found a bug or have an idea.
Wonderful! The easiest way is in the app via Settings → “Report a problem” or “Feedback & ideas”. Lumemo then attaches the app version automatically, which helps us help you faster. Of course you can also write directly to lumemo@jonasschaude.com.
Does Lumemo have secrets?
Maybe. The lights won’t tell – but if you look closely, you might be surprised. ✨
